Reason for the name of this site

  I would like to try to explain how the name for this Blog Site came about. I am a retired Senior Citizen. I was born shortly before WWII. I was 6 ½ the day Pearl Harbor was Bombed. But during the war, and after the war was over and for the next few decades, during the 50’s 60’s and 70’s the United States became one of the most powerful, wealthiest, most respected countries in the world. We invented, designed and built the best products the world had ever seen. Shared our knowledge with the world, and sent people around the world to help other countries rebuild after the wars and start building themselves into industrial nations.

 

  But during the past 20 years it seems that what with the political changes that have taken place here and around there world that many of the countries that we helped grow out of the devastation they were in, are now using the materials and expertise we gave them so freely against us. And in doing so, many countries are causing their people to work in unsafe environments at virtual slave wages to sell the products back to the USA, because their workers are not paid well enough to buy the products they make.

 

  I will do everything I can to change the situation to return things politically, militarily, and Industrially back to the way we were.

The Reason for this Site
The primary reason to open this Blog Site is that I believe that there are many changes happening through legislation that make this country and this world, a less desirable place to live in, and I for one would like to change things and make it a better place for all of us, not just the chosen few.

I also believe that there are many people that think the same way I do. I further believe that there are many politicians that think what they are doing is best for the majority of the people in this country, but are in fact passing legislation that makes things worse in the long run.

Many of the politicians believe they have done the right thing because they do not see the whole picture and the final repercussions of what the law will do in the end. And unless enough people tell the politicians they have made a mistake, the politicians think they have done a great job.

So this site is intended to let the people who think the politicians are passing laws that do more harm than good, can have a place to put their views before the public, and the public can see both sides, or in some instances, many sides of the issue, and will be able to pass on to the politicians the thoughts that John Q. Public has concerning these issues.
