There has been recent newsbreak that Florida Representative Mark Foley had been carrying out a series of cyber “Instant Messages” with an underage Congressional Page with the page’s masturbation habits as the subject. Rep. Foley has resigned from the House of Representatives because of this newsbreak.
However this had been reported to the House Speaker J. Dennis Hastert, months ago, and Speaker Hastert did not open an investigation about the actions of Rep Foley or ask for Foley’s resignation. So it appears that Rep. J. Dennis Hastert condones the action of his fellow representatives being Cyber Predators.
Here is the real scary part. If President Bush and Vice President Cheney were to die the next person in line to assume the office of President of the United States, would be The Speaker of the House, J. Dennis Hastert.
Wouldn’t the world love to hear that our new President condones Child Predators?
I am not too sure exactly how the laws read, but I think if a person is aware of another persons illegal activities and fails to report it or take action, the first person becomes a conspirator in said actions and is equally guilty.
I believe that Rep. Hastert should tender his resignation immediately.
Perhaps Hastert is Queer too and doesn't want to cop out on his boyfriend?????
What really goes on “Behind Closed Doors” during those Committee Meetings? Perhaps that is why so little was accomplished during the 109th Congress. Is it possible that other congressmen knew of this and would not report Foley or Hastert for fear of being uncovered themselves?
And is it possible that referring to Congress as “The Good Old Boys Club” has more significance than we gave it credit for? And that any reference to their colleagues “Gifted Tongue” has virtually nothing to do with their control of the English Language?
